Ok so January is nearly over. How’s your new year shaping up? Statistically of course, most of us have already abandoned our New Year’s Resolutions. It’s easy to do, which is why I tend to just set intentions and focus areas. I must admit, I had a bit of a wobble last week myself. But a quick glance at my
mind-map for 2019 kept me straight. I did have to make a minor adjustment. I had to concede to myself that I could only really work on one major project at a time. Trying to do too many BIG things at once is just a recipe for disaster on a number of levels.
Where does it end and where does it all begin?
We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.
Seems to happen to me a lot - this arriving where I started. The bright side is with each turning of the wheel, I learn something and become a little bit wiser.
Afterwards, I found myself knee deep in self-inquiry, re-examining my present trajectory and thinking about how to add adventure back on the menu.
I must weep before I can laugh (or so they tell me anyway). I’m happy to take life a little more lightly like a laughing philosopher who first must feel life’s tragedy before he can embrace life’s comedy.
Ah but I digress.
