Eclectically Curious
Not Hindered By Eyes

The “blind man is not hindered by eyes; he keeps steady on the same road, like a drunk man holding onto the fence.” And so it is with pursuing my intentions this year. You see, I’m the kind of dude who is easily distracted by shiny new things. Like the cat, I’m curious. And while curiosity killed the cat, I’m comforted by the fact that satisfaction brought him back.
This year, however, I am determined to be more like the blind man in the line above and ’keep steady.’
That will be my silent mantra.
By the way, Happy New Year. Hopefully you didn’t wake up with a head full of wild horses stomping around inside it.

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself. - Friedrich Nietzsche
